The LONGINES Hong Kong Sprint is one of the world's richest sprint races and is always run on the second Sunday in December.

The race is run right-handed on a turf track that is flat, 30.5 metres wide with a home straight of approximately 430 metres and is limited to 14 runners.

A "Good" track surface is likely in December. The day features four Group 1 International races and is known as the Turf World Championship.
